If there’s one definitive fact I’ve learned from dating a foodie, it’s that even a simple snack can be a blog-worthy experience. While I may have never taken my relationship with candy or ice cream to the internet, there is one category of digestible delights I can’t help but indulge in – coffee. Half-jokingly referred to as obsessed, and self-admittedly referred to as addicted, coffee has been my go-to beverage for nearly a decade. Between working at Starbucks and living as a sleep-deprived college student, my pallet for caffeine has been thoroughly refined.

Guest Review! Caffe Latte, Caramel Macchiato - H-Mart: Cherry Hill, NJ
New Pizza at Papa John's!

Although I was skeptical of their last new flavor, the infamous pickle covered Cheeseburger Pizza, it turned out to be pretty yummy. I think I might have to give this one a try.
Check out the Cheeseburger Pizza review HERE.

Organic corn snacks shaped like dinosaurs....I really hope these are yummy because they sound awesome. |
I was at Wegman's with my boyfriend, buying normal groceries, when I few new items caught my eye. Here's the
next round of new items that I spotted on the shelves and submitted to The Impulsive Buy.

Greek Blood Orange Yogurt Quickie Review - Aldi: Cherry Hill, NJ
I posted this new yogurt flavor from Aldi a few weeks ago, but I finally got around to writing up a review.

Insta-Foodie!
I was really busy weekend, so I thought I'd take a moment to show you some foodie teaser images from Instagram. (There's a normal review post coming up later tonight.)
All of these items have reviews coming up next month!

Shoeido Banana Roll - H-Mart: Cherry Hill, NJ
Ring, ring, ring, ring, ring, ring, ring, banana roll!(I'm sorry.)
My boyfriend has been teasing me about being pregnant because of my weird food cravings. I don't know why, but for the last few months I just want wasabi flavored snacks and banana flavored sweets.
Teriyaki Noodles - Aldi: Cherry Hill, NJ
This time I have an Asian inspired Aldi side dish. The packaging was pretty appetizing, and it was on sale for less than a dollar, so I thought I'd give it a try. I figured, at the very least, it'd be a really simple side dish to cook up during the work week.

Bolthouse Berry Boost Smoothie - Aldi: Cherry Hill, NJ
Bolthouse Berry Boost Smoothie - Aldi: Cherry Hill, NJ
Sometimes Aldi stocks Bolthouse Farms smoothies, but they are one of the elusive "unicorn" special buy items. "Unicorn" is a term I use for Aldi items because it basically means that you'll never know when it will be there, or what flavor they will have in stock. (They only carry one at a time.) I love Aldi, but that's it's one fatal flaw. You can find a product one week, fall in love with it, and it can disappear never to be seen again.
I don't go to Aldi expecting to find these smoothies, so when I do it's a real treat, and this time the shelves were stocked with my favorite, Berry Boost.

Must Chewing Gum in Orange & Banana - Wegman's: Cherry Hill, NJ
Must Chewing Gum in Orange & Banana - Wegman's: Cherry Hill, NJ
Here's a little box of Kosher chewing gum I picked up at Wegman's! I meant to post this during Passover, but Tuesday was the last day, so I'm a little late. (Although I haven't gone to sleep so it's still Tuesday to me. That counts right?)

Blueberry Cobbler Pepperidge Farm Cookies - Walmart: Berlin, NJ
Here's another item I picked up during my epic Walmart search for the elusive Fruit Punch Oreos. (Which I eventually found.) I had seen photos of this new flavor posted on a few food blogs, but I was unimpressed by the Pumpkin Cheesecake variety, so I didn't plan on checking out the rest of the dessert line. Although I didn't intend to buy them, I was getting a bit frustrated after going to so many Walmarts and leaving empty handed that I figured I'd buy something to review to make the trip worth it.
Let's hope that these Blueberry Cobbler Cookies come through!

Mini Carrot Cake- Pinterest Recipe Review
Happy Easter Everyone! If you're like me, you need to make two carrot cakes for two separate Easter Dinners. This has been my favorite carrot cake recipe for a few years now, it's really moist, flavorful, and the batter comes together really quickly. (Especially if you have a standing mixer.)

Panzarotti - Quickie Review
Today's post will be a really quick review of a Panzarotti from a pizza shop in Merchantville, NJ. (I forgot which one. I'll drive by it again and add the name later this week.) In case you've never heard of this food item, it's similar to a calzone. What you are looking at is a pocket of fried dough filled with cheese and tomato sauce. Essentially, this is a giant pizza pocket.

Pea Crackers (Wasabi Flavor)- Asian Food Market: Cherry Hill, NJ
I know Easter is quickly approaching, and I should be reviewing the Easter themed candies in my stash, but I was craving something spicy, so it's time to open up this bag of wasabi flavored Pea Crackers!

Spotted on the Shelves Entries 13 (More Walmart!)

I imagine that this would make great French toast! |
*GASP* More Walmart items? Back when I was searching for these Oreos, I was spending a lot of time in Walmart, so I took a lot of photos. Here's the next round of new items that I spotted on the shelves and submitted to The Impulsive Buy.

Buffalo Chicken Meatloaf - Pinterest Recipe Review
![]() |
We ate ours with homemade garlic mashed potatoes and steamed veggies. |
Sorry I don't have any glamorous photos of this one, although I've made this recipe made twice, both times I was over my boyfriend's place. That means no light set up and no real camera. (I really ought to build a second set up and leave it over his place. Maybe I'll do that later this month and post a how to video. Is anyone interested in my lighting set up?)
Like I said earlier, this is a recipe I have made twice now, and it's absolutely delicious.

NEW at Aldi: Blood Orange Greek Yogurt
Blood Orange Green Yogurt - Aldi
While I was picking up my weekly staples at Aldi I noticed that there's a new flavor of Greek Yogurt! I picked up one to review, so that'll be posted later this month. (I hope it's good.)
This is a special buy item, so who knows how easy it'll be to find, or if it'll stick around, so get it while you can~!
Orange Starburst Water Ice - Rita’s
More Starburst flavored Rita's!
I've reviewed the Strawberry version in the past, which was pretty yummy, and it sold so well that two other flavors were released. This year you can pick up a cherry or orange Starbust-flavored ice, but I doubt lemon will be making an appearance. From what I understand, Alex's Lemonade Stand has the monopoly on Rita's lemon flavored ice. If Starburst wants to keep releasing water ice flavors, they are most likely going to try some of their Tropical themed one.
Let's see if this Orange Starburst ice is any different from a typical orange one.

Asian Pot Stickers Cafe Steamers - Walmart: Berlin, NJ
I don't know why, but I've been feeling really run down this week.
I haven't felt like making anything elaborate for dinner, so it's time for another Asian inspired meal from cafe Steamers. These instant meals satisfy my tummy and my laziness, what's not to like? This is going to be a really short review since I covered the packaging in my last post.

Fruit Punch Oreos - Walmart: Somerdale, NJ
I posted the ad featuring this new flavor eleven days ago, and I was really excited to pick up a package that Sunday, but I couldn't find them anywhere! I feel like the ad was put out a week or two early by mistake or something, because it seems like no one (other than Junk Food Guy) was able to find these on the shelves.
Are you going to go to the Subaru Cherry Blossom Festival?

Local crafters and artists, as well as Japanese confectioneries and snack trucks, will be parked at the Horticultural Center in Philadelphia's Fairmount Park to sell their wares and (hopefully) watch the cherry blossoms bloom.

I Finally Found Them!
I'll post a written review with photos tomorrow, but I was so excited that I had finally found these that I decided to make a video when I got home.
General Tso's Spicy Chicken Cafe Steamers - Walmart: Berlin, NJ
Apparently Cafe Steamers came out with an entire line of Asian inspired flavors. Maybe it's because I tend to buy 4-packs of my favorite flavors from Sam's Club, but I had no idea that there were so many new flavors. I've been a fan of these steamy frozen dinners way before I started Sometimes Foodie, and I have been consistently buying them over the years, but I have kind of stuck to the flavors I have known and loved.
While searching for those elusive Fruit Punch Oreos, I decided to pick up two new flavors to review this week.

Spotted on the Shelves Entries 12 (Walmart Edition)
Since I have been running around like a mad woman looking for those elusive Fruit Punch Oreos, I have been spending a lot of time at Walmart. Here are a few new items that I spotted on the shelves and submitted to The Impulsive Buy.

Iced Cookie Dough Latte (with sugar and milk)- Dunkin' Donuts: Pennsauken, NJ
That's right! The newest items to join the cookie dough craze are a Dunkin' Donuts coffee and latte. At first, it seemed like cookie dough was going to be a flavor trend for 2014, since two limited edition cookie dough items were released one right after another, but the trend petered out as quickly as it began. After a month of cookie-dough-less items, Dunkin' decided to revive the trend with these dessert coffees. After reviewing the unimpressive Cookie Dough Oreos, and a filled doughnut, I was a bit skeptical of this coffee, so I'm going into this review with fairly low expectations.

Pea Crackers (Original Garlic Flavor)- Asian Food Market: Cherry Hill, NJ
Pea Crackers (Original Garlic Flavor)- Asian Food Market: Cherry Hill, NJ
Remember these from my last food haul? The twisted shape looks just like Fritos Flavor Twists, reviewed here, but the name has me pretty confused. Are these made with peas? I figure the light yellow colored crisps can't be made with any kind of green pea, so does this mean these snacks are made with chickpeas? I guess we'll find out!

Wasabi Roasted & Sea Salted Seaweed Snack - Wegman's: Cherry Hill, NJ
These crispy little seaweed sheets have been my go-to snack for the last month. I bought my first package back in February when it was a new item, and I meant to review it, but I got a little hungry. Eight packages later, and here I am finally posting a review.

JunkFoodGuy found the Oreos!

I'm so jealous! JunkFoodGuy beat me to the Oreos!
I have been to 4 Walmarts since the ad was released last Sunday and I've had no luck. (Plus the employees have no idea what I'm talking about.)
After reading his review, I definitely want to buy a pack.
Peeps Hollow Milk Chocolate Egg - Quickie Review
This was a silly little Easter gift from my boyfriend, and while the product itself is far from revolutionary, I thought the packaging was pretty cute and worthy of a quickie review.

Table 8 Bistro March Restaurant Week : Collingswood, NJ (Photo Heavy)

Table 8 Bistro March Restaurant Week : Collingswood, NJ
Sunday marked the end of restaurant week, so I'll be returning to my normal foodie reviews. It's been a lot of fun going to all of these new places to photograph and eat yummy food, but my stomach and wallet are both ready for a break. To end the week, my boyfriend and I went to the Table 8 Bistro for one last dinner. This restaurant is relatively new, it's slightly off the main road, and it doesn't have a website yet. (Although it does have a Facebook page.)
THIS FOOD IS BEAUTIFUL (AKA, I went overboard with the photos)
